Your Stay and the Hunt

Spring snow goose season in Saskatchewan means big migrating flocks, fast shooting, and nonstop action. It’s one of the most intense hunts out there and it plays a real role in conservation, helping manage birds the land can’t sustain.

You’ll be hunting in one of Canada’s top flyways with a crew that does this every day. Setups are dialed, gear is solid, and everything is built around the birds.

This trip is about getting in the field, learning as you go, and hunting with women who are there for the same reason no chaos, just a solid experience from start to finish.

For this hunt, we’ve partnered with Apex Waterfowling out in Saskatchewan and they run a solid operation.

Days are built around the birds and conditions. Each day you’ll head out for a 6-hour hunt, either in the morning or afternoon depending on where the birds are moving. You’ll get set up, run the spread, and stay on them as long as it’s working. Back at the lodge, you’ll have time to reset, eat well, and relax before the next hunt or wind down for the evening with good food, a couple drinks, and stories from the field.

We’ll be based just outside Landis, about an hour and a half from Saskatoon. The lodge is clean, spacious, and set up right with plenty of room to relax between hunts. Shared accommodations, but comfortable and well-kept not a bunkhouse setup.

Apex takes care of everything on their end, including a private chef for the weekend. Meals are handled breakfast, dinner, everything so you can focus on the hunt and enjoy it.
